Join the Effort to Pass Paid Family Leave
We have people at the State Capitol in Salem constantly monitoring the progress of Paid Family Leave legislation. These folks will be sending timely updates about the success of our efforts. Sometimes, they will need our help to persuade lawmakers and will send out “Action Alerts”. An “Action Alert” could ask you to email or phone your legislator, show up at the Capitol for a legislative visit, or testify at a committee hearing on Paid Family Leave. Your help is necessary for Paid Family Leave to become a reality.

Send a Letter to Lawmakers
It is important legislators hear from you about what Paid Family Leave would mean for your family. It is so easy! Just enter your address, so your email is sent to your legislators. (We will not use that information for anything else). We have prepared language you can use, or write your own.
Lawmakers listen to their voters…you! Tell them why your family needs “Time to Care.” What hardships have you and your family have faced without paid leave? Are you a mom, dad, daughter, son, employer, employee, child care provider, caretaker for an aging parent, without children but still support Paid Family Leave? Make it personal, or not. Just make sure you weigh in. Your opinion matters to lawmakers, because, well… you are their voter.
Tell lawmakers in Salem that Oregonians want Paid Family Leave.
